Customer Service Alive and Well
I'm like anyone else.
We all work hard for our money. When we purchase something often the differentiator between a good product and something else is how the transaction is processed. I’m new to the forum, but I’m an experienced cigar smoker and have even more knowledge around customer service. Background: On a whim while surfing through the CS forums I saw Taboo cigars. Having not ever smoked one of their sticks I hit the website to order a sampler. After entering all my details and “processing the order” the website kicked me back to the address screen. Experience: Right there upper right corner phone number. Call and talk to Pat. Pat tells me I need the online sales expert and asks for my name and to hold for the website guru. Seconds later Rob answers the phone. Rob gets the details, walks me through the order process and gives me a couple pointers on what details to double check and then stays on the phone with me talking about the day while I process the order successfully. Yeah it’s not anything special other than taking an extra minute to be sure ME “the customer” is happy! I am happy and I haven’t even gotten the cigars . Cheers Rob – thanks

I absolutely agree.
I placed my first order with Taboo last week and received it yesterday. Rob encouraged me to call in if I needed anything, something that most online places just would rather avoid. Great service overall!!!

Rob's great. PLaced an order on a Sunday for an item that went on sale Monday. Rob made sure I got the sale price and the triple flame torch lighter. He let me know by giving me a call. We had a nice chat when I called him back to say thanks.

Called him last night and spent about 15 minutes on the phone with him as he tracked down some cigars for me that he doesn't carry in his store. Great guy!

I just recieved the sampler from him yesterday also. I did not get the "golden coupon". But with the quality and taste of the one I will definatley purchase again.I sacrificed last on the way to work this morning, I t was the Specail Forces, I chose to start with that 1 cause of me being in the military. It was the perfect size for my trip to work. Consistant flavor thoughout, started to burn funny, but caught itself quickly. After just 1 of em I know that it will be a goto smoke for me.
