Re: How Did You Come To Club Stogie?

When I first started smoking cigars I found Top25 cigar website. I have been going there for a couple years, reading about cigars, playing the football pool...I actually won one week! So, earlier this summer I just clicked on the Club Stogie link and now I spend much more time here than I do on the Top25 site.

Re: How Did You Come To Club Stogie?

Found it doing a search for "Padron Anniversario" on Yahoo - saw there was some good info, registered, continued to lurk for about 3.5-4 months, reading up on stuff that interested me, then decided to take the plunge and become an active member.

Wow, your post looks almost exactly like mine.

Was looking for cigar reviews and stumbled across this forum. I have been to other sites since and was intertained. However, this site IMO is the only forum a brother or sister will ever want or need!

Re: How Did You Come To Club Stogie?

Well, after a couple of stogies, I realized prices were better online. Happened by one site that had links to cigar forums. First one I clicked was CS. Lurked for a month reading all I could, then joined. Like others, nothing has been the same since.

Thanks to all the LOTL I've had the privledge of talking to, splitting with and joking with! And to those I havn't.! You all are great!

This one is too easy, but for those out there that don't know - CIGma-Chi introduced me to the group. I'm forever thankful!

Re: How Did You Come To Club Stogie?

Like a lot of others, I just happend to stumble on it using the search engine. Trying to learn as much about cigars as I could, I thought a forum might be the best place. It only took me about a day of lurking before I decided the atmosphere seemed friendly and welcoming. Forums can be kinda intimidating, especially to someone (like myself) that has never been on one before. Now I'm hooked.

Been a member at other BB's for a while. Was invited to join a few years back, but never registered until recently. Never really thought that the jungle would have a nice atmosphere. Thanks for having me.

Re: How Did You Come To Club Stogie?

i was on a non-cigar related forum and people were talking about cigars, and somebody brought up cigarbid.

i am new to cigars and wanted to buy some cheap but good cigars so i did a search on reviews and found top25, and have been using it as a tool ever since...

saw the link for this place & SHAZAAM! i'm here.

cheers!

Re: How Did You Come To Club Stogie?

My nephew brought me back a RYJ Churchhill from Mexico about a year and a half ago. After smoking that I decided I need more info on all cigars. I was smoking Punch Elite's and London Clubs from JR's and whatever Wallymart had when I ran out of those. So the next obvious thing to do was google... Saw CS and the no SNOB disclaimer and was hooked. Read hundreds of threads and finaly started posting. Post Hoe ever since. Thanks for putting up with me..
