Travelingdog's new pad

Hey gang,

I've moved out into my own place now and the lawyer is starting to write drafts of the settlement agreement. If I'm lucky, I'll be a free man by spring. I'll be able to walk away with out any spousal support, not that she deserves any.

Funny thing about finding this apt. It took me all of 1 day to find it, like i was lead or meant to be here. After seeing both ends of rental housing in Cincinnati from a dump to a nice expensive condo with wbfp skylight security etc my last stop was at this 2 br place @ 2 miles from my old place. The place is a 2 family with an added effieiency in the basement where my landlord now lives.

The place felt comfortable as soon as I walked in, very roomy nice closets kitchen in good shape. Ric, the landlord, said that I would have full access to the back porch, which I had spied immeditely with thoughts of cigars on the back porch! When i asked him what he would think about me having a cigar and a beer out back, he replied that he enjoys a cigar and a beer, too! Bonus! Ris is in the same boat as me, except that he caught his soon to be ex cheating!

All my stuff is here now, the phone and internet is working. Its a little sparsely furnished for now, but its home. I broke down and bought some beads for my 2 humi's now (thanks dgar). I added some distilled water tonight, and decided to sign back on to CS.

Now the forecast is for snow sleet and rain for the next few days. I was so busy with the move that I couldn't take advantage of the nicer weather last week to burn one.

I plan on getting with bigben for cigar night again too, herfin in the Cincinnati suburbs!

The 'dog is still kicking!

Good for you man... Also congrats on the new place.

When you get a chance, smoke a good cigar and enjoy your newly found freedom.

Cheers,

I was there two years ago myself. It does get better - just keep on keepin' on and keep that positive attitude!

Re: Travelingdog's new pad

Glad to see you here bro. Enjoy the new pad, and glad to see that you have a place to smoke! My wife and I were looking at houses last night, and found one with a nice sized storage shed out back, that would be PERFECT for a cigar lounge!

You, bet! bigben and I have been trying to meet up for it. Of course, travel will keep me out the next few Tuesdays (trips tp Pitsburgh/Chicago/KC MO).

I'll let you guys know when I can make it. Thanks!

Re: Travelingdog's new pad

Look forward to meeting you. Ben and Adam are both good guys to smoke with. I'm traveling a lot right now as well, but hopefully in a couple weeks I can get my schedule together so I can meet up with you all again.
