[SIZE=3]Well, I’ve been holding on to this smoke for a few weeks, and I’ll admit that I’ve been rather afraid to smoke it. Well, not so much afraid as hesitant... I’ve been hearing so many different opinions about the vision, many good, many not so good, and till now I’ve been unwilling to try it out for fear of being disappointed. Keep your hands and arms inside the boat 'cause here we go![/SIZE]
[SIZE=3]Initial impression: Wrapper is a nice golden brown, slightly bitter on the lips. Construction is top notch and the stick is firm, but with the perfect amount of give. The draw is slightly tight, but loosened up upon a surprisingly easy light. First draw is not harsh and only slightly bitter with hints of leather and spice and cedar. While it is a bit milder than what I usually smoke, it is still entertaining, though not a complex smoke… a nice mild to medium strength with a pleasant aftertaste. 1/3 of the way in the spiciness disappears and is replaced with smooth creamy taste with the light flavor of nutmeg. [SIZE=3]Burn is very even and ash is tight with no flaking or fallout, still hanging in there ½ way through… Scratch that…. I just prematurely ashed all over my stomach! It’s never happened to me like that before, I Swear!

Smoke volume is only moderate and is not overbearing. Then tragedy strikes! At just over ½ way through the burn becomes uneven, which was easily remedied, but unfortunately much of the flavor magically disappears…with nearly ½ of the cigar left to go! By the time I’m down to the nub I’m flat tired of smoking it and eagerly drop what’s left in our community ash spittoon. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=3]Final verdict: It was just as I feared… Disappointment ensues with a vengeance. Not only was it not that great of a smoke, I’ve had better sticks for 1/3 of the price! This is way over priced and way overrated. Maybe if there was more flavor, maybe if it burned a little more evenly, maybe if it came with a complementary pizza it would actually be worth the 14 bucks that my buddy paid for it. Unfortunately it doesn’t even come with a hot pocket! Dang, and I REALLY wanted it to be good. [/SIZE]

I actually enjoyed my Vision quite a bit. The burn i had stayed pretty even throughout the whole cigar. just my personal opinion though and this is yours! i must agree with you though on the pricing of this cigar... NOT worth msrp and much better smokes out there for a 1/3 of the price.

I must say that I laughed my @ss off when he ashed all over himself tonight, too.

Yes, I was herfing with him and it was a pleasure to see...especially considering Bo has had his fair share of laughs at the multiple ashing I've done on my own shirt! Great review, bro...but as I said tonight.....you can't deter me from enjoying what is still one of my favorite smokes!!
