Bad day for Beetles

So after seeing two posts today from guys with beetles, I figured I'd crack the humi and just make sure. I open the lid and what do I see, a little friggin guy crawling on the wall. After emptying and inspecting I found 3 other dead beetles but only 2 beetle holes, 1 in an Ashton VSG and 1 in an Ashton Maduro (so much for trying the Ashton line).

Actually I just checked again and it looks like there are 2 other holes 1 in the foot of each stick. I'll try to throw up some pic's in a little while here, but first I have to run down to the vendor and give him a heads up.

Sounds like I get to be paranoid for the next few months. Yay for me! And my condolences to NCatron and Neuromancer

Been smoking for 7 years and never had a problem, now 5 in one day. That'll about do it for Ashton's as far as I'm concerned.

Hey Foz....I found a beetle hole in a VSC Illusion only yesterday...wtf???? It was the only evidence I could find and since it was at the foot, I chopped off about an inch and fired it up anyway...Wasn't all that impressed with the smoke.

I hope that you got them all and it was just a fluke. I can't imagine if your collection got ruined. I think it will be fine. Lookin forward to sittin down and smokin with you again soon.

If I get 53's it sounds like I'll be up there for about 5-6 months, so we should have plenty of time to kick back and smoke
