This is a discussion on smoke rings taken to a new level within the General Cigar Discussion forums, part of the The Cigar Lounges at Puff category; I think it's possible but not easy. I've seen some wierd underwater stuff and that's not that wierd honestly lol...

That is pretty neat stuff.
Just don't understand how the second bubble can catch up and pass the first. Thanks to my ears needing clearing, I can't even make it down that deep to be able to pull that off. Next time I go diving, will try to do a shallow 15-25 footer in Key Largo. When I first descend, I like to take a few minutes to establish boyancy and double check all equipment. Sounds like a good time to give it a shot. However, as someone else already pointed out about themselves, I too cannot even blow smoke rings on land, let alone pull this off. |

Think about it though, if they were going to digitally edit it, wouldn't they have made the second bubble fit through the first bubble WITHOUT having to shrink? They would have just drawn/rendered it smaller in the first place... so, wouldn't it make more sense that it's real?
