Devil site dropped DHL ?

I ask for all my shipments to be delivered USPS. I have never had any packages came through DHL, but I can say from experience UPS Sucks. They always take two to three days longer than USPS, and they won't leave the package at my house, so I have to go pick it up, wich can take another day. I suggest using USPS for quick relilable delivery.

I once sent a package to Dubai via DHL. I sent it the quickest way which was two days, it cost $78.00 for a folder of paperwork.
It arrived 15 days later. It was never lost, it's just what it took.
It was the very last thing I ever shipped via DHL.
Another thing that rubs me about them is their prices are as high or higher than UPS, yet their drivers earn 1/3 what UPS drivers do. Somebody is putting some serious jack in their pocket. It'd be nice if they'd put some of that money back into their service.

This is an absolute false statement. UPS has the industries shortest time in transit from the east coast to the west coast. That is unless you are counting days when we are closed against us.

Yup, I looked into driving for them after I was laid of from fedex. Fedex paid me almost $20/hr to be a courier. For the same position at DHL, I could have gotten 8.50/hr. I won't have ANYTHING shipped via DHL.

On couple of my last orders from CBID....I actually emailed and specifically asked NOT to use DHL but UPS or USPS. Everytime I ordered and they shipped DHL it literally took 7-10 days+++

I had one shipment that I ordered on a thurs...came in the monday over a full week after. UPS and USPS both have them on my door on thuesday afternoon.

Not trying to "pick on" UPS but DHL worked in my situation very well. I live in northeast Ohio and C-bid is one state over. The auctions end Wednesday night at midnight. On Thursday morning I would get an electronic invoice and by the end of the day Thursday I had a tracking number. I have no idea when DHL actually picked up the package but it was delivered to my work place every Monday mid afternoon like clock work. Last weeks shipment went out UPS. According to the latest tracking information my package is now in Columbus Ohio. I am sure there is a UPS logical reason for this but that’s at the other end of the state. How long it will be there is unknown as of now but I find it hard to believe that it will be shipped out of there, make it to the local office, get loaded on a local truck and be delivered to my shop tomorrow. If all that happens, its 1 day later than DHL. If it’s the next day, its 2 days later, either way I still do not have my cigars.

Normally I would be doing this in my humidors right now

DHL is the worst. Lost packages....failed deliveries....never a good experience with them for me... Now lets hope Dell Computers drops them as well.
