I still want to get a few more jars, probably glass ones. That way I can put two rows on the top shelf. I'm very pleased with the look, it's what I wanted.
I think it will play well when I get all the other things done to that area.
Here's the pics...

Looking good! Is there any concern as to storing cigars vertically as opposed to horizontally?

This week I'll be pimping out my wine coolers.
If I could only show you the picture of the control box that I have in my head.
It's gonna be totally sweet.

People have been storing cigars in humi jars for somewhere around 2000 years.
I'm sure someone will have a concern, but I don't.
The one thing that does concern me is the lack of air exchange. I'll counter that by opening the jars every now and again.
I'll be keeping any flavored cigars in the jars, as well.
I just bid on some Karmasutra Splash's and Eileen's Dream at the devil site. I want to pick up a box of Kahluas and Java's, too.
Those will go right in the jars.
It'll be awesome to crack open a jar and enjoy those wonderful smells.
I'm really looking foreward to it!!!

Yep...you're from Cali.

Not just from California but a Californio.

I am not 100% sure what you are implying with your statement. Although it comes off as being a bit derogatory.

Scott, the visual effect of your project is inviting. BTW I didn't know you where a Padilla Hybrid fan.

Thanks Richard!!!
I think the gentleman above was suggesting Cali's are all stoners. I'm not sure what would give him that impression?
Very well done review, I enjoyed it. I have yet to try the Hybrid. I was afraid it would be peppery and I don't care for pepper. Seems more often than not Padilla's are over-peppery. I avoid pepper like the plague.

Excellent idea! I guess you need all of those stogies wrapped in cello unless you use something different for the beads?

I got them from Rob at Taboo. His square ones and round ones were on sale, plus I had a coupon. They were dang near free.
There's coupons in the Retailer Forum. I'm not sure if they're still on sale, you'll have to check.
