I haven't tried them, but if you get a box I'll be in on a 5'er.

The Candel wrapper on the Quad seems awfully green...No?

A little to pretty for my taste...Give some a try and post a review.

edit: ya, that candela looks a bit iffy. id stick with the triple, plus, that would be a lot of flavors going on

Re: Indian tabac split decision

Bought some of cigar.com a while back, have only tried the Quad so far.

Nice construction, nice burn, exciting to look at.

Tasted... a little bit of each of the wrappers, a strange sensation (my first multi-wrapper cigar). Didn't taste _much_ though, and since I like stronger, full-bodied smokes, it didn't really qualify as a favorite of mine.

I guess a brother with a well develop palate and a liking for really mild cigars could find it worth the price.

I'll try the Triple and Double one day (_early_ one day) and see if I like it any better.

Try to kick out a review on these if you can - been curious to try after I picked up a 5'er of the Cameroon Legend Gorilla's a month ago - enjoyed those so wondering about the split.

Re: Indian tabac split decision

Indian Tabac - to me it's a cigar that most people new to cigars try and like until they try most anything else - then they forget they ever smoked them.

I don't see this version of Tabac being anything different and would spend the money elsewhere.

Re: Indian tabac split decision

I don't think I'll be trying these. I haven't liked any of the IT's I've had. In fact the last one I smoked made me want to

I know a lot of guys like them. I'm just not one of them.

Re: Indian tabac split decision

Sorry to bump this thread but I finally got around to smoking the quad last night. The wrapper burns terrible. Completley uneven, and it appears as though one of the wrappers just doesn't want to burn. On one of them, it actually burned even almost all the way down, with only one instance of needing to touch up. On another however, it was constant touchup, and so bad I thought the whole inside of the cigar would have burned inside the wrapper without actually burning the wrapper. Real hit and miss with the quality as well. I bought seven of them, three singles and four came in the sampler, and I would say two out of four have flaws (holes or tears) somewhere on one of the four wrappers.

As for flavors, not bad actually, but I made the mistake of smoking it a week after my friend brought back some cubans from Thailand. So with the smooth taste of Cuban still in my memory, this one bit me hard. It felt fairly harsh on my throat and tongue. I have been smoking cigars off and on for a few years now, but I am not an expert. So all I can say is the taste is medium bodied, but not powerful. Like I said, not bad, I enjoyed it, but it is simply average. And for a cigar that is so complex in construction, I expected more. I give them to people when they come over, so I don't have to give them one of my good ones.
