you are putting water and a chemical that would react with metal. Therefore you are using either glass or pvc and selected pvc because it is easier to use in fabricating the vessels that you made.

I did work with saltwater fish for a while. I bet its salt or something acidic, thats why all the saltwater stuff is plastic of acrylic. Chas |
