I never heard of that one, nice. The one I post ONLY re-sizes you can do nothing other than that.

To be honest I don't associate any names with the photos, I really don't remember or care. I know different strokes and all. I'm not trying to single anybody out, and I do like some pictures. I just hate gigantic photos.

If there is an image format Infranview can't handle, I prolly don't need to use it. It's pretty all inclusive. It will do screen shots, flip, rotate, change colors, etc.

i tried to upload a HUGE image to this thread but all the photo hosting sites were scaling it down

The hosting site I use, www.tinypic.com, has a pull-down for you to choose and it will automatically resize the image for you to avatar size, thumbnail, email, message board size, and a couple of large formats.

I like seeing pictures in reviews and such. Its nice to see how the cigar burned, and ashed. As far as dialup users are concerened, I didn't know people still had dialup

Seriously, I like pictures. And I try to include a couple when I do a review.

Of course, at some point, twenty 2048×1536 pictures of the ash on a Fuente 858 maduro become a little much.

I agree with the above points about not quoting pictures, though--even though I do know it's one of pnoon's pet peeves and I might have done it once or twice just to agitate him

Just to clarify. There are times when quoting the picture is pertinent. It's annoying when someone posts 6 pictures along with a review and someone replies w/quote and says "nice review"

If you where so inclined you could tell firefox to not load images automatically. Then you live in a text only world and they rest of us image whores could continue to clog the net with senseless pictures of ashes and butts.

As far as I'm concerned, there is never a reason to quote more than one picture from an original post...

I agree croatan, I enjoy the pictures as well. Obviously, people should be aware of the size but I say the more pictures, the merrier.

Oh yeah! I've been a GIMP user for a long time. I use to do a lot of wincustomize stuff, and GIMP is awesome. It's gotten a lot better, it use to be a little quirky, but once you learn the ins and outs, it incredible.
