All the Oliva stuff is soon going to take a backseat to all the Padron stuff.
I find it easier to get my hands on Padron 2000 boxes than Oliva Tubos boxes. I have to go scour ebay for Padron boxes right now. If I missed some I couldn't live with myself.

I think I'll probably need maybe 10 more altogether for the double chest of drawers I plan to make next. Kinda depends.
I have to look at what I have and then decide what I'd like to make.
I'd like to make a double wide chest with two different size drawers and nesting boxes in between, but I want to use all box wood.
To do that will take me about ten extra hours.
I'm really thinking about making the body of the chest out of oak. It'd be way easier.

Yes, they are.
I ripped all the guts out and threw them away, made a new seal frame, split and fixed the door jams and packed the screwholes. I still have to do something with the window frames because the glass intends to fall out.
I sanded them out completely, too. What a joy that was.
I got down to the composite board in most places. The spanish cedar lining turned out to be a veneer about 1/32" thick.
The "glue" that turned out to be sap came from the trays, or so it seems.
I had figured it'd take me about five hours to make the boxes right. Took me about 10 so far and there's more to do. I tired with them so I pust them together best I could and when I get the mood I'll finish up sealing them up.

No, I don't sleep. Not very well. A lot worse since I hurt my back.
I'm whipped tonight, so I'll crash before midnight, probably.
I got all my work done, I probably oughta make some bead thingies, but I'm really not in the mood.
