I just found thread from a week ago.
Just back on the 31st the wall looked like this...

2 days before that I didn't even have shelves.
I hope I can get everything I need togather to finish this up this week.
All the "flair" pieces are missing. Plus one of my hydras puked. I'll have to send it for warranty. Fortunately I ordered one from Rob at Taboo on Friday so I'll be able to put one in the display humi.
A little evaporation will keep the temp down.

The whole deal needs trac lights. I'm not gonna do it though.
I pretty much maxed this project out. There's a couple little "flair" pieces I need that I mentioned earlier, just some stuff to doll it up.
I should have it 100% done in the next week or so.
I have to quit playing cigars and get my taxes done and get my plants started. I don't have any tomatoes or peppers or anything started except some impatiens.
Once I hit the garden, cigar season will be over.
Then I'll just smoke and play farmer.

Scott, very very nice! Those shelves for the singles look a giant pain in the ass to make but they came out very nice. Talk about maximizing a display humi!

No doubt, they sucked.
I took a lot of time measuring and figuring and dividing and figuring out how I was going to make them.
Initially I was going to laminate a hoarde of 1" square oak stock that I have and make a "step shelf". It would have been really cool but it would have taken me forever and it wouldn't have worked as well.
I made these both at the same time and covered them two different days.
The first one was too wide, so I cut it down before I covered it.
On the second one I measured my door frame, cut it to size, covered it with felt, and tried to put it in the humi.
It was a good half inch too wide.
I took the measurement before I put the door's seal frame in. Duh.
So I had to cut a big hunk off, felt and all. I had to run the compressor and keep all the sawdust off the felt while I was cutting it down.
It must have been a hell of a thing to see.
It worked out real well though. I just had to trim up the felt and cover the side again.
I learned a lot about using felt and fabric glue when I made the first one.
The second one was a lot easier to do and turned out far nicer.

I'm glad you enjoy seeing the projects. Thanks for saying so, it makes it worthwhile to share. I struggle sometimes with what I should post, because what I think is neat is usually totally different than what other folks want to see.

That's the indentation that holds the bead bags in the back of the stand.
Of all the stuff I did in this round of mods, I'm the most proud of that stand. I learned a lot making it and my concept worked perfectly.
That cutout for the beads was exactly what I needed to make space for the hydra behind it. There's not a 1/2 inch of extra space.
That's cool. At least to me.

Hehehe. I noticed that in the pic, too.
It was that high because the light is right next to it and I had it turned on and bent around to shine on the smokes. Right now it's at 72 and 62%. The other case is at 72 and 69%.
I've been messing with the wine coolers all day to get the temp and rh%age right on the money but didn't work on the display humi's. I'm waiting on a new hydra to arrive before I tweak them in. It should be here Wednesday or Thursday.
I should have everything to 65% by the end of today.
Ultimately the display humis'd will probably rest at 72F and 65%RH while the winadors will be either 60F and 65% or 65F and 65%. I haven't decided which temp I'm more pleased with.
Come summer time there will be an air conditioner in the window right next to the humi's, so it should be very easy to keep things under control.
