[QUOTE=LasciviousXXX;1584600]These are very mild bodied smokes as Greg has stated. I didn't get so much creamy flavors when I smoked some but did remember it being very understated and subtle flavors. Really had to pay attention to the smoke or I would have thought the flavor wasn't there at all LOL[/QUOTE
I smoked about 1/4 of one once while mowing the lawn. Tossed it in front of the mower and shredded it. Just my

Re: Park Avenue by Gurkha ??

I was lured by 2 things: the Gurkha name and the beautiful band (I'm a sucker for nice bands.) I've only tried one so far, thought it was quite nice. I'm waiting for them to reach their turn in the rotation, but I'll probably get back into them before they do.

Re: Park Avenue by Gurkha ??

I liked it. Not very complex but the flavor was good and the smoke was decent. I don't see ever buying a box but I don't mind when they show up in samplers.

Re: Park Avenue by Gurkha ??

Very, very mild. That's all I can say about them so far.

Not very complex in flavor, just light and airy. I like mild mannered cigars (love the 5 Vegas Gold) but these are too light, even for me.

Going to age the few I have left a couple of months and see if they improve, if not they're going to my friends.

I agree great priced mild smoke with a flashy band LOL I personally prefer the church hill over the torpedo.

Re: Park Avenue by Gurkha ??

All that glitters is not gold and all that is Gurkha is not good! The Park avenue is a mild, benign, uninteresting smoke. For the CI price point it can't hurt you. The Sherpa is another disappointment from Gurkha.

Re: Park Avenue by Gurkha ??

In latest catalogue from cigar.com has a half page dedicated to them. They show 2 sizes. churchill and torpedo 4.75 single box of 20 59.96.
Says its mild mannered, tons of flavor, with notes of bread and nuts combined for a nice finish.
Looks like a hansome cigar. Band is kind of glold and says parkaveuene on top of band, number 44 in a crown of leaves or something, and khansotia and co. on bottom.

Regards Jerry
