Am I smoking too much?

Damn!!! I smoke 4 cigars yesterday..Dont know why.Just felt like it..Not alcohol induced..Just did it..At the end of the night, it dawned on me that I smoked 4 freakn sticks..My craving for the leaf has increased over the years..But last time I remember, I was only smoking 5 or so a week..Whats happening to me.? I dont want to be that guy who ends up smoking 10 a day.Does it get worse?who out there smokes more than 2 in a day and how long you been smoking?

I work with several cigarette smokers. They either stop for a smoke break frequently or smoke while their working. Just out of the sense of being social I feel like I should be smoking a lot more than I need to. One or two cigars a day taste good. My solution was to keep a cigar case in my office that only holds three and always intending to save one for later.

i do the 5 a week like you but i to have days where i will just down 3 or 4 sticks.... i think in the end that the amount i would smoke everyday if i had the time, atmosphere and health

I am the same. I was only having about 1-2 per week 3 months ago, but now it's rare to skip a day at all.

3 or 4 a day, you lucky dog. I get 1 a week MAYBE. Full-Time Bodyman by day, student by night, and having a girlfriend doesn't give you a whole lot of time to smoke.

I started at about 5 a year, then a couple a month, then a couple a week, now I am up to probably around 7 a week or so. Multiple on weekend days, and then a few throughout the week. When I golf, I end up smoking 3 or 4 on the course, that is in the morning, and I will usually end up smoking 1 or 2 more throughout the day after that.

Are you smoking to much? No, now shut up and smoke a good one

Here lately I have been smoking around 5-6 a week. Basically that covers my 3 days off a week 2 a day. Now that I have more time and money in my life I can enjoy them more often

The only reason I do not smoke one after work is because I don't get home until 10 or 11 pm. If it wasn't for that problably 10-11 a week.

Smoke what you got when you can, nothing wrong with that at all.

I enjoy 3-4 cigars a week, but when I smoke a stick, I take a time out and just smoke and have a scotch or a beer, very meditative,... my quiet time. I really don't smoke when I do any activity. So if I didn't have to work or do much of anything else I'd probabley smoke allot more.

At least the want to smoke is driven more by taste than nicotine.

So far two a day has been my max. On a weekend, maybe one in the afternoon and one later at night.

I smoke 2 - 5 daily. Sampling everything in sight lately. No such thing as TOO much, is there? Well, as long as you're enjoying it, I guess.

I was an infrequent smoker - progressing like you, dannyboy. I'll usually smoke one daily on the ride home from work, occassionally slipping another in after dinner. Again, one or two on weekend days. I'll get 1 per 9 when golfing - that's the only time I can enjoy the bigger smokes.

With a 40 hour work week, couple of hours of commute and a child who's in kindergarten, 1 or 2 a day is just about what I have time for and only PC's and TPC's. Only get to burn bigger sticks on the weekends. Often crave for more, but still happy with what I'm able to smoke.
