Different Bands for Bundled vs. Boxed Pepins?

I was curious if anyone else has noticed this. All of the cigars pictured are from CI. With both the Pepin Black and the Series JJ, the cigar on the left was from about 6 months back. The cigar on the right is from the Joe daily deal and a Pepin Black special.

The older cigars had a glossy gold on the bands whereas the ones I have received in the past week have a flat gold trim on the bands. Cigar construction, smell, feel, etc. are all identical.

I take crappy pics but hopefully this is good enough to see what I'm talking about.

Anyone else notice this with theirs?

Re: Different Bands for Bundled vs. Boxed Pepins?

They have changed all of the bands coming out of ERDLH recently. From what I've heard, Pepin's factory has been having hiccups with the band and box producing proccess for a while and thats why bands and boxes have often changed.
