Try the legend or the Nepalese warrior. I don't like most Gurkahs, but those two are excellent.

Gurkhas Ancient Warrior is a pretty damn good smoke. Good draw, entry level flavor and razor burn / cement-like ash

Re: Gurkha cigars thus far disappointed

I've had a Regent and a Shaggy foot, both of which were very nice smokes... I have a Beast in the humi that has taunting me to smoke it
I haven't had one yet I didn't like... We'll see if that holds up when I get to that Beast...

Re: Gurkha cigars thus far disappointed

many a time I have been let down by gurkha thanks to construction problems and the like, bad taste etc. but there is one that has made it into my top 20 the G3 toro no construction flaws (rolled by torano no wonder), and was amazing, the shaggy wasn't bad, but nothing to rant about, definitely not worth the 14 dollars I paid for it though.
