Welp, I'm ruined.

Today I fired up an Anejo#50 that Than (Tchariya) sent me.
I loved it from the very first draw.
I was taking a good hard look at the beginning flavor and I thought "That smells just like turning logs over looking for salamanders".
It had a very woodsy feel and it really took me back.
Aside from that, the cigar was more or less "same old, same old". Meaning it was a fabulous mixture of Fuente flavor, but I didn't experience anything new or groundbreaking.
The cigar had it all. It was gorgeous, perfectly constructed (although full of stems), burned perfectly, smelled gorgeous, and was smooth as silk.
I found myself struggling to not inhale, and did a few times. The smoke was so full of flavor, but it wasn't at all harsh or strong.
This cigar was just as remarkable for the things it didn't have or do. It didn't burn my eyes, didn't burn my nose, and didn't get funny.

I don't know how I'll ever be able to be without these cigars in my humi.
It's easily one of the best cigars I have ever enjoyed.

That doesn't sound like ruined to me Scott! I like Anejos and your description puts into words my thoughts when I have had one.

The #50 is my favorite Anejo, except the shark, can't beat a #77, unless all you had was a #50, in which case you would be doing pretty alright...did that make sense?

Anyways, I like the #50 very much, I try to keep at least 5 in the humi at all times.

At about $25 per stick for the #50, it may be awhile before I get ruined. My rapid descent down the slope hasn't gotten me to that point yet, but I'm afraid it won't be long! Does anyone know a good divorce lawyer?

You are paying double what you should if you are paying $25 per stick. I do know that Davidus sells them for $25, which is why I won't give them my bidnez.

I love the mini review, Scott! Some gorillas don't care for the Anjeo due to the hype around them, but hey... a good cigar is a good cigar!

Around Christmas time, if I make it to the B&M in time, I can get them for about 9 bucks a stick. Well worth it imo for a great cigar.
