La Aurora Preferidos

Goodness.

I went ahead and grabbed an assorted handful of these little f-er's this weekend at the local shop, and I can safely say, they are quite possibly my favorite thing to smoke right now.

I enjoyed the Ecuadorian and Connie in the last two days, and I'm going to smoke the Maduro tonight.

I'm somewhat of a newb to cigars and to the boards, but man, this cigar is just lovely. It's too bad their 11-12 bucks a pop!! Totally worth it but my wallet was whimpering in the corner when I left the B&M

It's clear to me you don't want them at this point. I mean, you've neglected them long enough. I'll do you the favor of burning each and every one of those for 'ya.

Seriously though, if you guys were to rate your fav's in that line, how would they stack up? I hear the emeralds are outstanding.

I've got a sapphire looking all pretty in the glass top humi but it looks so nice sitting there I feel I'll end up like VS and never get around to smoking it.

Re: La Aurora Preferidos

Also, I'm not referring to the little guys in the metallic tubes. I'm talking about their bigger brothers.

The Connecticut and Ecuadorian were fantastic. The Cameroon (I think it's emerald) I smoked a while back before I really got into cigars (gifted)

I'm really excited about smoking the maduro though, I hear it's very good.

There have some sentimental meaning. My parents bought me the box of the preferido tubos for my 18th bday, which I thought very cool. I have three left, doubt i'll ever smoke them

The silver line is my fav. Love that cammie wrapper. The golds (corojo) are good, the red (maduro) are tasty, the blue (CT wrapper) are a bit too mild for my tastes, and the green (ecuadorian ct) are pretty good.

Love the #2 maduros. They can be had cheaper, if you buy them without the fancy tubes.

Re: La Aurora Preferidos

La Aurora looks like a mighty fine choice as a pickup for my next B&M run!
Everyone seems to enjoy them to some extent -- no 'La Aurora Sucks' threads that I've seen.

I love these cigars, in tubes or out. They are in my top 10 group.

I just bought a box of the Robustos (Cameroon) and it has become my favorite NC. Just tons of flavor...and all of it good!

Now I just need to try the La Aurora Barrel Aged...now tha sounds tasty! Damn backorders...

Re: La Aurora Preferidos

Well I smoked the Maduro last night during the Spurs / Jazz game.
It seemed a bit plugged throughout the entire smoke, but I managed to get her going fine after a few minutes. Another very good LA smoke!!
