Re: Chewing Your Cigar

I have a friend who is a cigarette smoker and he destroys every cigar I give him. He is such an agressive smoker (I don't think he chews on it) that after an inch or so it is unravelling all over the place. And he smokes it like three times faster than me. I gave him a CT exodus silver and he thought it was harsh but I think he was just smoking too fast.

I guess he chews on it, come to think of it, cuz the end is always mangled.

It's ok by me though. I will still part with some sticks in order to have a friend to smoke with. If I give him a premium I will give him strict instructions to be gentle.

I'm likin' the whole "shaft" thing. Not to mention "poll" being spelled "pole" in one post. Naughty boys.
Gotta love "quotes".

I don't chew. Although I do "Bite" my cigars, just like the post above to create a better draw. Also when I don't have a comfortable place to smoke with an ashtray to hold my cigar for me, I will tend to hold it with my teeth. I hate it when it gets all soggy with spit .

One thing I do like to do though is suck on the head of my stick for a bit before chopping it off.

Hmmm, the literary equivalent of being photochopped.

Re: Chewing Your Cigar

The ends of my cigars get a little chewed up and ugly looking if I'm doing something that requires my hands to be free and I end up holding the cigar in my teeth, but I don't actually chew on them.

Re: Chewing Your Cigar

The way that the 'pole' is worded and some of the responses make me wonder what my brothers and sisters mean when they mention a 'woody' flavor in a cigar review.

Re: Chewing Your Cigar

I have to say, it would be interesting to see the people in here who do "chew the shaft".

Re: Chewing Your Cigar

on the golf course I like a toro. Smoke half and then turn it into a chewer, of course I have always been a fan of chew so maybe thats why.

At home with a good stick, no
