I got one in a bomb from this knucklehead and really liked it, suprised me. Come to find out it's made by the same folks that make one of my favorites, the astral #1 perfecto, they taste very similar and are quite good when they're on

Re: Helix Cigars??

It's a great starter cigar for anyone to try - especially the natural. The maduro is tastier but nothing that's going to stay in your memory for long - good for the money but there are alot out there good for the money that I would pick over these - Padilla Hybrid & La Aurora Robusto's are 2 that I would spend a couple of dollars on before Helix any day.

Yeah, I'll agree.

If I never picked up a few Helixs last Holiday season, I may not have ended up here.

The Remix Amarettos aren't too bad.

Run away!!

I have had a couple, maduro and natural, construction was terrible on all of them, very acrid taste, just seems like poor tobacco to me.

Re: Helix Cigars??

Had one about 8 months ago, not impressed and neither was my buddy who is not a regular smoker. Sticks had draw issues and I don't belive we came close to finishing them.

Re: Helix Cigars??

I tried the Nat and Maddy when I started smoking almost a year ago, thought they were ok then. Haven't had any since then.

I would say give them a shot and go from there.

Re: Helix Cigars??

They are a nice, affordable mild smoke. I've picked these up at the B&M several times and haven't been disappointed. For the price definitely pick up a couple and give them a shot.

Re: Helix Cigars??

I bought a box of naturals. I let em sit for the better part of a year. I think they're pretty tasty.

Re: Helix Cigars??

I think I still have one lying around. If you PM me your address I'll send it out if it's still there. I like mild smokes but was not impressed with this one.
