Show her some pictures of coolers (easy to find, here) like these two, 120 quart cooers. Then, tell her I'm considered a "slacker" by most real cigar smokers on this forum. (Only about 500 cigars on hand.)


I think the key to cigars and wives/girlfriends is to get off to a good start like I did 39 years ago. As we were heading home in our one-horse buggy, the horse stubled. I said, "That's once." Down the road, the horse acted up and I said, "That's twice". The third time it happened, I said, "That's three times", pulled out my rifle and shot the horse. Have a separate credit card and send the cigars to your friend's house or work.

I'm gonna low-ball it and guess that I've got somewhere between 100-150. I'm pretty luck in the fact that when I tell my girlfriend that I've just made an order, she doesn't get the least bit concerned, and actually seems a little glad that I spent some money on myself, no matter how tight the bank account is at the moment.

Yes, it does. I want the beard to go to someone who's "follicly challenged".

WyoBob (and, yes, I really have driven a buggy a couple times and a two horse feed wagon that we scooped 11 tons of feed per day from every day when I was a kid working at a feedlot during the summer.)

I have about 25 cigars in the humidor. I try to keep my purchasing of cigars to a low count due to the wife getting upset with to many more then I have now.. Funny thing is she has more cigars then I do, but I smoke more then she does.

Try to come to a common ground with her.. After all isn't that part of being married?

I haven't counted but I have a Vinotemp, 125 ct. desktop, and a medium sized cooler full right now so somewhere in the 500-1000 range. I'm also not married but it doesn't bother my girlfriend in the least

I don't have any issues w/ my wife re the cigar(s).
I tend to just keep a couple years supply on hand though
