Looks as if my cooler stands at 120. I'm a lil low on Tats, I see a box split or two in my future.

Inventory says 726. I think about 900 - 1000 would fit nicely in the cabinet.

Last time the wife looked in the cabinet she stated I had way to many cigars. I told her most of the boxes are empty, I was using them to take up space to keep the humidity up.

She then said something about a large animal defecating and left the room.

My wife doesn't believe it is possible for a man to have too many cigars -- as long as they are good cigars and ones he enjoys. So I currently have ca. 800, which is normal. Any more than that and I'd need more storage, and that isn't an option right now. Really.

The number tends to hover between 600-800. I do replace what I smoke, but sometimes there's a delay, so the number on hand drops. And sometime I buy new stuff (like NUB, etc.) to try out .....

So, on average, I keep about 700 on hand at all times. I have no idea why. I can't possibly smoke them all any time soon..... Must be the disease we all seem prone to.

Thanks for the help. My wife just harps on the mouth cancer thing and is relentless every time I smoke (just sits there and shakes her head). Now I'm not saying I don't she her point, a loved one hurting themselves. But I only get to smoke a few times a week so I call myself a casual cigar smoker that likes having them in his humi as much as in his mouth. i really liked the "so whats for dinner" line for next time she says something. I love my wife dearly and she is a wonderful woman so I'll take the ribbing in stide.

I smoke one every month or two.

My wife doesn't approve and would rather I not have this interest. However, she never says a disapproving word and never gives me a hard time. She's actually warmed up to the idea somewhat after seeing how much enjoyment I get from learning about the hobby and "playing" with the sticks. She chuckles a little when she sees me tending to the beads or opening the humi just to get a whiff. She found it very amusing when she found a bag of sticks in the freezer one day. She's great, and I realize how blessed I am not to have a nagger.

Plus she's hot.

haha, well done. Yeah, i just have girlfriend issues at the moment, i have maybe 30 cigars in my 50ct and its always just - ewww smoking is just so gross, or she wont talk to me for a while, probably because i smell - i just agree to not do it in her presence or to make sure i shower before i try and hug her

I am probably sitting on around 200 + sticks.

Try this approach....
One night my wife and friends were on the back deck hanging out. Of course the fellas were all smoking some stogies while the girls were chatting it up. I did the ole "peer pressure" tactic. Asked...ok forced her to try mine. She was totally against it fighting me tooth and nail. Finally I broke her down. Although she doesn't smoke anything from my humidor. She does now have a 20 count humi full of flavored cigars. Now she loves smoking an occasional stogie on the deck with friends.

PS she never complains about the money I spend on stogies either...'cause I throw a couple of flavors in the mix for her too. What can she say about that. LOL

At the moment I refuse to count them. I have two coolers stuffed to the gills. I keep mine in my office at work. I believe if she had opened one of them I would be sleeping on the couch for a while, but have been advised that I will need to quit so will be selling off quite a few in the near future.

I don't have an exact count, but I know I have more than 500 but less than 1000. Probably somewhere around 700.
