Thumbs up CFO Reserve #7..... a love story

Being a noob on a budget I am always looking for the most bang for my cigar buck. After reading a million posts on here I found a consensus of fellow gorillas who really seem to like the CFO #7 Blend. The only complaint seemed to be that the shipping time sucked. I figured what the hell, for the price, I can wait a couple of weeks. I went ahead and ordered a wheel of the Toros last Thursday (4/1 and hoped for the best. What a surprise when I get home today and find my smokes on my doorstep. I ripped that box open and popped one of those suckers right in my mouth. I tell you I have found the ULTIMATE yard gar! I even hate to call it that because its better than 'gars I've paid 10x more for. But nonetheless, I firmly thank all the CFO fans for the great advice. For the price it really is the best cigar I have smoked in my short (about a year) smoking experience. When looking for a quality smoke I will always look for guidance from the experts here on CS. You guys know your stuff.

I've been rather happy with the ones I've smoked. At $0.75 each I can't complain.

fwiw...Had my first P2K Anejados Corona yesterday from the Corona sampler.
Very Good med bodied smoke, I would have put that up against any premium priced stick.

I ordered a bundle for my dad and he got them in about 3 days. He said the wrapper looked like paper...not sure what that was about.

whoa-- the wrapper on the bundle looked like paper, or the wrapper on the cigars?
We don't do thin brittle wrappers, so I would love to know what they were.

I really don't know what he was talking about. Better to follow reviews than what my 84yo dad said.

I agree they are a heck of a cigar for the bargain concious smoker. I've gone through two rings of the Rosado, Mature #7's so far. I've gifted half of them, smoked the rest.

Wish I had the humidor room to let 6 or 8 rings AGE. With some time on them they will be nothing but better.

Crafty.....check out the rest of their offerings. Quite a few intriguing bargains there.

I definitely will. I'm going to make my way thru the entire line, one yummy bundle or sampler at a time.

Re: CFO Reserve #7..... a love story

Throw some of them in a dry box for 7-10 days and they get even better. I have been passing them out to several of my cigar smoking friends and they are blown away at the price when I tell them.

Got one that was gifted to me resting right now. I got two, but the first one had an ammonia taste.
