Accusation of CI Selling Fakes proven not to be true!

Did you read the story in question?? The guy says at the end that they are NOT fakes. So you may want to get a mod to remove this.

I just received a 10 pack of the don pepin cuban classics from CI, which I'm assuming is from the same stock as the CB stock, and I thought mine were tasty. But I have never had them from anywhere else, so I can't make a true comparison.

I would doubt they were fake with the quantity they sell. Mr. Pepin would notice if they were selling without his permission, let alone selling "fakes".

I bet they were made specially for CI

Be careful. I followed those links and read through them, it appears that DPG's people verified that CI buys directly from them, and the scare was due to a band change. Although I don't frequent CI or CBID anymore, I'm not a fan of putting a vendor's name and the word "fake" together in a title unless you are 100% sure. I'd actually ask the mods to change the title of this thread as it it leads people to believe that CI is selling fakes without any proof.

Isn't great how we picked that up here quick, but the board that linked to the original thread still hasn't read the whole original thread considering their thread started the same day that it was said they weren't fakes. Gotta love the level heads at CS
