for around 200 a box though, and as a grad student, I can't smoke them daily.

can anyone suggest a similar cigar to that as a daily smoke?

Not exactly an alternative but another very good smoke I'd pick up a box of Tatuaje Havana VI Angeles which usually go for around $118 shipped. If thats still too much I'd recommend if you haven't tried yet is Oliva Serie G Maduros. Those are around $75-$85 depending on size and are a fantastic smke for the price. Hope this helps.

I'm in the same boat as you with these. The regular line Padrons (4000's are my favorites) are a little more decently priced and still have a somewhat similar taste. That's the closest thing I've found, but man...I'd kill to find somethin cheap like the PAM's.

Camacho Negro was a tasty smoke I'd make a regular maduro go-to.

I might be wrong to express this opinion here but I believe there are a good handful of ISOM petite coronas (similar size to the Principes) that might fit that bill and be a lot less spendier.

I do love at Padron 1964 Principe given the chance.

Age those delicias maduros for a couple of years and you will be amazed at the cigar you have got for a fraction of the cost of the 64's.
