Is any one doing anything for these guys allready?
I was wondering if anyone on here did any thing for this army base?
If not What can we do? I'm ready to send some stick if anyone is ready to start it????? How can we get in contact with these guys there? I'm sure there are some members here that are very good in doing this. http://youtube.com/watch?v=B4P-camUjjk |

I believe the guys depicted in this video are all back home with their families at this point...Hope so.

I first heard of this story on Lou Dobbs on CNN. I guess because of time constraints they didn't show all of the photos. They tried to show how bad it is, but without seeing all of the pics it's hard to get the feel of how bad it is. I believe that this is the second scandal (or more) dealing with the how the troops are being treated when they get back. It is totally disgusting to me how fast the politicians go to war, but how slow they are when it comes to taking care of the troops when they get back. I'm going to send a letter to my congressman. Beyond that I'm not sure what more I can do. Does anybody have any suggestions? Putting a stupid magnet on your car isn't supporting the troops. Solving a problem like this is what I call supporting the troops. If we have enough money to allow big business to "war profiteer" than we have enough money to treat the solders like human beings.

Right now I'd have to say the letter thing. Send them to as many DC suits you have stamps for. I already sent my e-mail to an officer friend there and he too is looking into the treatment of all troops stationed there. I understand the Army has a way of "forgetting" things that impact our troops. If we keep DC hounding thier asses they'll have to fix it. Also petition CNN for a followup...
This stuff doen't happen in the AF. We would have moved everybody out day 1. We also have some great NCOs that visit thier troops on a regular sched. in the dorm and report on anything that needs "attention".
