What in the world motivated you to start smoking cigars, anyways???

Same ole' story... Quit smoking cigarettes, 6 months later a friend gifted me a Macanudo, enjoyed every second of it. Went to the B&M, bought some sticks to pay him back and try a few more for me (remember my first Oliva O natural, still a go to stick for me, love 'em!). Some dried out since I didn't store 'em properly, needed a humi. My friend mentioned seasoing it, but he didn't know what it meant or how to do it, so on I go to Club Stogie for some basic info, we all know what happens from there... ~KD

This was pretty much how a few friends and I started and back then and we thought we would smoke some premiums and went all out and bought Te-Amos on the regular with a couple Punch Maduros thrown in from time to time. Seems I'm the only one who took it a step further and let it become an illness. Ohh, how times have changed from those days.

I was eighteen...and in Wisconsin...the only other thing to do was buy lottery tickets...smoking sounded like a much more rewarding "investment"...

Went to a B&M about 3 years ago to buy a box of cigars for a coworker as a gift. Knew absolutely nothing about them. Talked with the owner and discovered how much there was to learn about them. Guess I was just intrigued on a mental level. I was a long-time cigarette smoker so I decided to give them a try. I've been smoking cigars ever since ... and I'm still learning something new all the time.

I first started about 2 years go, my family used to have a place down in Ithaca NY where I would camp pretty much every weekend. One of our life long friends started smoking and I though that in addition to our huge campfires, wild poker/blackjack games, and the drinks it would be a great addition.. been going ever since
