Bungey!

So, I've been smoking for about 5 years and have, of late, been feeling ill every time I smoke. No, I'm not dying, but my head feels heavy and I usually can't finish my smokes. In case you think it's my choices, be aware that this happens with everything I smoke, from Hoyos to Ashtons to whatever. Anyone gone through a phase like this? Just curious. My collection is getting back to respectable, and yet I feel like I just might quit or go to one a month.

Re: Bungey!

I would def. stop for a week or so and then smoke one and see if you feel bad again.

I'd see a medical professional - that doesn't sound very normal at all...

Re: Bungey!

look on the positive side....just age what you have...save some money by not purchasing anymore....and when you get back to normal, you might just have some fine tasty aged smokes!

No, in fact I think it's my schedule and other things actually. I'm working midnight to 8 a.m. and usually staying up until noon or one. Every time I feel this way, I'm smoking and drinking coffee, which is probably an overload; combine that with my schedule and sleeping in an closed-up, super-dark room for seven hours and I think I'm just tired and subsisting right now. The upshot is that this is my last mid shift.

Re: Bungey!

I think you nailed it-many imes it's outside factors of stress, your body clock and don't discount what your diet can do to you. Any allergies? Or a real wild one, have your cigars been compromised? Wren I say that, have they been subjected to any mold or anything like that? I know I'm reaching, but you have to look at all of the factors.

Good luck and get to feeling better and I agree with everyone-I'd lay off of them for at least two weeks after you change your shift.

Thanks for the kind words...Actually, I think I've having some humidification probs. Part of my problem is the draw on my cigars, I think; it's not good because I've having trouble finding some equalization with my Oasis. I prefer to keep my cigars at 67%, but the Oasis is all over the place right now. When the draw is hard, I get a headache...that's part of it, too, of course.
