Flor De Olivia

Well I finally broke down and ordered a bundle of the naturals. Hope they are as good as everyone says they are for an everyday smoke. I also went on a limb and ordered a sampler of Baccarats.

Later guys

Re: Flor De Olivia

For the price, you can't go wrong with FdO. They aren't spetacular, but they are quite consistant.

Re: Flor De Olivia

I like Nicaraguan Puros and think these cigars are great.. def worth more than the $30/bundle they go for. Even with a few months of age, they develop a sweet taste to them. Good buy.

Re: Flor De Olivia

Sounds like they should be worth it. I like a slight sweet taste when I draw off the cigar.

I didn't know Flor de Oliva made a double ligero. You sure it's not a La Flor Dominicana? The LFD double ligeros are great--but strong--smokes.

Re: Flor De Olivia

The FdO's are a good, consistent smoke...considering how inexpensive they are.

Atlantic Cigar has them for $24.95.

I have to agree that these are a solid, everyday smoke. As a matter of fact, I'm debating, when money allows, to set up a coolerdor with 5 or 6 bundles. Just my $

Re: Flor De Olivia

The FdO Maduro has always been my favorite everyday smoke from the beginning. I go through a bundle a month. For the price, I just don't think they can be beat as an everyday smoke.

Re: Flor De Olivia

Well they came and construction looks good, the nose test passes. I wont be able to light one up until Sunday so I will be waiting to do the final test.

Look very tastey though I must say. If I like em I may have to order a bundle of Maduros also to try.

I didn't notice until now I spelled the name wrong LOL

Re: Flor De Olivia

I don't care for the naturals, they taste kind of "dry" and "harsh" to me. And the Grand Cameroons are even worse. (And I do like cammies....)
However, I find that the maduros are quite sweet and flavorful. Especially in the torpedo. These are the only ones that I would purchase. (But to each his own....!)

Great golf course/yard gars.....!
