Read before using Gift Cards at JR Cigars

For those of you that are frequent or semi-frequent customers at JR Cigars:

I won a box of Flor de A. Allones today on JRCigars Auctions. The box normally sells for $94; I won mine for $69. I claimed my auction on the web site and tried to pay for it using three gift cards that family members gave me for Christmas.

I immediately ran into a problem that the web site will only let you enter one gift card per order. I called customer service on the phone, and the lady I talked to was able to process my order with three gift cards but she couldn't process my winning auction price, only the regular price listed in the catalog.

Long story short.... I was transferred to three phone reps before one of them (Chris) was able to complete my order at the auction price of $69 and let me pay for it with my three gift cards. Chris said he would talk to the webmaster about changing the web site to allow more than one gift card per order.

In the end, it all worked out. But if anyone on Club Stogie wants to bid at Jr Cigars Auction and tries to use Gift Cards, please note that not all the kinks are worked out of the system yet.
