Schwarzenegger Cigars

This week, I have been up in Sacramento for some work related training. While walking into my hotel on the first night, I walked by a well dressed gentleman who was smoking a cigar. As I walked by, I had to do a double-take and get another nostril full of this cigar. It was amazing.

As I headed to the elevator, the man followed me in and exited the same floor as me. When he arrived at his door, I said, "I apologize for bothering you, but what cigar were you smoking out front?" He said, "Why, did you like it?" I said, "The aroma was absolutely amazing!" He said, "It is not a brand. It is one of Schwarzenegger's personal cigars." He then reached into a traveldor and gave me one in the cellophane.

I opened the end of the cellophane, took in the aroma and was in heaven immediately.

I have heard that Schwarzenegger has unique cigars that are made to his "standards and tastes" and on several trips to the State Capitol have walked by his office to see people walking out carrying non-labeled cigars. It is my understanding that he hands them out to those who enter his office. And from brief observation I was able to identify the male as a person who works in the State Capitol (so I have a good idea he was not pulling my chain).

I took some pics of the cigar, but unfortunately it was only with cell camera, so the pics do not do it justice. It appears to be about 6.25" by about a 60 RG. The wrapper has a red color to it (something I have never seen before).

When I get back from the training I will place it in the humi for a few days, as I have just had it sitting out, with nowhere to keep it and nothing to cut and light it with. Then....up in smoke!

Re: Schwarzenegger Cigars

I to would love to hear a review on this cigar. I have a friend that recieved one of those when he went to California for some political business. He told me the story how he got it from the Governor but he hadn't smoked it yet.

I hope AS chokes on one of his cigars. Cigar taxes, golf taxes, and another 1/2 a dozen proposed taxes. The closet socialist c***sucker can kiss my a$$. By the way, do you think the Gov. pays California tax for those cigars?

I hope you enjoy your cigar Jbock!!

Re: Schwarzenegger Cigars

Looks like a CFO Reserva #7 w/Rosado wrapper.

LOL Just kidding.

Met AS many years ago when he was pushing Pres Bush #1's School Physical fitness programs. He was with our (MT) Governor and School Officials at our State Capital. He was surely respectful and Polite to the LEO's who were assigned to escort him. I enjoyed the couple of hours with him.

He is proposing a tax on Golf lessons, not a round of golf.

Enjoy the cigar, I look forward to the review as well.
