Thumbs up Who wants some Blend #7 Reservas?

I have ...maybe 40 of these cigars, and I just haven't been smoking them like I was. I have "too much" (not ever really too much..) other stuff that I usually smoke instead when I actually get the chance to. They are a little strong for my liking, too, but there is a variation through the bundle with some being stronger than others.

So.....

What I'll do is this. Split up what I have into packs of 5 or 10. and they go free to whoever replies. All that I ask is that you pay me shipping ($4.60 P.P. is fine).

I figure this is a good way for anyone who was curious about these cigars from theCigarFO.com to check them out, and I get to thin out my coolerdor at the same time.

I'll make a list as people show interest, then go home tonight and make an accurate count of how many there are. Then I may throw in some traveling companions.

So who would like to try these guys out?

edit: oh yeah, they have been resting in my coolerdor for... 3 months or so at around 67% humidity/70 degrees F

I'll take some of these. I've been wanting to try some but didn't have the space for an entire bundle. Thanks for the offer.

Cool Re: Who wants some Blend #7 Reservas?

the list

Quote:
1. Benjy
2. rack04
3. rolyat150
4. Freight
5. sacmore21
6. dccraft

Just got the wife to count, there are 36. so I can have a list of 7 total, for 5 packs. Or 9 people if I do 4 packs + extra.
I guess it'll just depend on interest how I split them up. 9 is the maximum though.

Some of them look almost maduro, and some are medium brown. I think the darker ones are the stronger ones out of the bunch, some go so far as to overwhelm the flavor IMO. So yeah, maybe they do taste kinda funny....I wonder why though. and why it's only some of them

There are several different #7's. The Original Gold Foot was first, then came the Reserva #7 which was "aged for one year", finally they released the "Dry-Boxed #7" If you have the Dry boxed, I would age at least another 3 months. The darker Reserve #7's also need some time to smooth out. 3-4 months seems to be a good point to start smoking them. Before that the first 2" can be a bit rough.

So is the wrapper different?....or has the aging effected the color?
