Drink pairing for my first PAM?

I have my last final of the year tommorow morning and will be celebrating w/ my first PAM. I believe it's the Imperial size. I was wondering what drink I should pair it with. I love Amber Bock and Guinness and most liquors. If you're going to reccomend a hand-crafted beer, I'm in KS, so that may limit the available brews.

Guinness goes well with most cigars....Although I've never tried it with a PAM.

I like Fosters bitters in the green can. My Albertsons carries it, but you have to go into the walk in behind the beer selection.

I'd give a Peroni a try. It's an Italian beer in a green bottle/white label. I get mine from Kroger. It's a nice beer to have on hand for the warmer months ahead as well. Very refreshing and doesn't coat the pallet.

A STIFF Mojito. You don't want the sweetness to overpower the cigar.

Bulleit and water on ice, or Eagle Rare. Both are excellent bourbons and I find that rum and whiskey are the only alcoholic drinks I enjoy with cigars.

I'm about as big of a Guinness fan as there gets (I've got the logo tattoo'd on my leg!) But with my cigars I've always liked the 1554 from New Belgium Brewery (same guys that do Fat Tire, whick I'm also a sucker for ). The casing looks just like the Fat Tire (the blue and red boxes). Try it, you'll like it ~KD

I'll change things up a bit and if your looking for something on the non-alcoholic side, a nice cold Dr. Pepper always goes well.

Non-alcoholic = Barq's root beer
Alcoholic = Youngs Double Chocolate Stout

Nice choice pistol..One of my favorites..
Boulevard Irish Ale is another one of my faves..But it might be hard to find now, its their spring seasonal brew.

Zon is a nice light summer brew from Boulevard that goes good with a cigar.
