What's up with Perdomo Reserve?

Does anyone know what's going on with the Perdomo reserve line? My local b&m stores are all out of everthing except the champagne. I've been told they are not going to carry the golf, cameroon and sungrown due to lack of sales. I've also been told that Persomo is going to give the line a face lift ...again. I have also noticed that in the last month Joe's has run the cameroon and sungrown on special and that the golf line showed up in the new CI catalog in a different box, at 1/2 the price. I e-mailed Perdomo but have jet to here from them. What;s up?

I am one of the folks whom rarely smokes Perdomo (imo most of Nick's line is overpriced), I did for the 1st time several days ago try a Habano Corojo Toro, it was so bland I pitched it a little after the 1/2 way mark.

The only "face lift" I know of is they were thinking of limiting the number of sizes they made in the Reserve line and they were thinking of making the cello look nicer. For some reason, Perdomo cigars tend to do very well in the Mid-West and poorly in other parts of the US. That might be why your B&M is cutting back. To my knowledge they are not planning on changing the blends at all...but this is all 3rd party info I am receiving so who knows.

Dunno, but the Perdomo Reserve have always been one of my favorites. Hope they don't change too much!

My guess is that the Golf (which is a "Limited Edition") is being discontinued. I emailed my rep, but haven't gotten a reply yet. I'm pretty PO'd about it tho, with CI advertising for $15-20/box BELOW my cost plus a free 5er to boot (and that doesnt include the 23% OTP tax). I will be closing out the whole Reserve series here, in response.
