So true here also.
My wife grew up around tobacco in Pinal del Rio.
Her family grew it, rolled it, smoked it.
She has never smoked but can often tell when I am smoking a Cuban from a non Cuban.
Some cigars remind her of days with her dad and grandfather.

Well, I think the opposite is true in my wife's case. Judging from the cigar boxes in the garage full of screws and other small pieces of hardware, my wife's father was no connoisseur.

Given that her father's death was directly attributable to his cigar-smoking habit, I feel lucky that my wife's attitude is as tolerant--which is to say, not completely intolerant--as it is towards my habit.

Might actually be sooner than you think.
I have a trip planned for an overnight to Dallas in July.
Have not finalized it yet but might be able to go the next night to Houston.

My wife is Cuban and loves when I smoke my cigars. She can tell a CC from a NC with a lot of the time. Just from the smell or actually smoking the cigar with me.

I think it's in the genes.

I always thought real men smoke cigars. I've never seen such a group of pansies like the guys in this thread. When my wife says my cigar smells, I used to tell her to shut up, go outside, and mow the lawn. Now she just walks around the house in full scuba gear.
