Barry, After looking on google maps just now, I believe the place was called Nickel Cigars, 89 Yesler Way # A, Seattle, WA, phone: (206) 622-3204. It was not large at all, but I was happy to see VSG's, Padron, and the Tats- so at least I knew the selection was fairly good. As for prices, I am not sure, I think I spent $8 for my Tat Havana VI Torpedo- probably more then they are worth, but I really wanted to try it out.

I know I always throw this out there, but, if you want Pepin or Tatuaje in Seattle, stop by Rain City off exit 162. Very easy to get to, and they have a great selection that is constantly updating from Pete and Pepin.

Good quality, good prices.

Re: Tatuaje Draw Question

I have a box of the Tatuaje Havana VI Angeles and the first 4 have been tight, but what a great smoke. I have moved a couple from my 65 RH humidor to a 60 RH one to see if that helps.

Re: Tatuaje Draw Question

Thanks for the tip on Rain City!

I hope to head down to Seattle in June or July - I'm thinking of taking my 14-year old and his best bud to a Mariner's game...I might drop them off at the park for pre-game batting practice, and make a quick run to Rain City...

Re: Tatuaje Draw Question

Rain City cigars I think only carry's the white label Tatuaje's. They don't carry the brown label from what I know. Unless this has changed in the last week.

Check out Cigarland in Shoreline (155th and Aurora Ave N). John, the owner carry's all the brown/red labels plus Cabaiguans and other DPG's. He has a GREAT selection. (It isn't your typical Cigarland).

As for plugged cigars, I can only say that I have smoked a truck load of these and have NEVER had a plugged one. After seeing how many shops keep their humidors at obscenely high rH, I suspect that many of the problems mentioned in this thread are humidity related. Let them sit in your humidor for a month and see then how they smoke. I bet you will be surprised.

Pick up a set of Henry's Tools. They do wonders for plugged cigars. I havn't had to use them too much but when I did, I was thankful to have them.
