Smoke Rings or No?

For those of you who can't. Get a lot of smoke in your mouth. Try this curl your lips like you're going to whistle then open your lips a little bit. Now, using your forefinger gently tap your cheek like a drum. Tap it a bunch of times changing the shape of your mouth until you get rings. These are small smoke rings and you can do lots of them very quickly.
For Larger rings, you must make a circle with your mouth. Now slowly close your jaw just a bit. The closing motion forces the smoke out.

Just a few tips...
It has nothing to do with your tongue.
The rings form because the smoke is rotating backwards, the air forced out of your mouth does this automatically.
Don't exhale, use your jaw. Your jaw does most of the work.

Footbag, congratulations on giving the first smoke ring instructions I have ever read that didn't sound like you were teaching someone how do give a BJ

However I do use my tongue I put the tip on the back of my front teeth and use it to make small quick pops to push the smoke out, you way never worked for me.

Same thing happens to me after I remove the cigar from my mouth and let just a little smoke out. No tricks though.

Nice pic. Obviously, using your tongue works for some people. For the smoke rings that is.

I've tried both the tongue and the jaw technique, and have had a little success with both, just can't seem to get them consistent though.

I only blow smoke rings when I'm alone and smoking. I don't like showing my "O" face in public...

I love blowing smoke rings!

Another trick you let smoke flow out of your mouth and you take a shalow breath through your nose and the smoke makes two little paths into your nostrils. Mind you dont do this excessivly but it looks cool.

Also not realted to cigars but you can blow bubble rings underwater. you lay on your back on the bottom and make pretty much the same motions as smoke rings. Smoke bubbles are fun too

[SIZE=3]Pretty much every draw gets a ring, I use smoke rings to measure the draw and amount of smoke I get. A good draw for me is worth 4 to 5 good rings.

I blew smoke rings all the time when I smoked cigaretts. I have never tried it with cigars, I may have to start. Thanks for the tips.

Occasionally, yes. I've found that the "jaw method" works best for me.
