More new experiences
Went to a new B&M this weekend and bought the following new-to-me brands to attempt to expand my ever-changing tastes:
Punch La Glorita Cubana Ashton Helix R. Patel Edge Also bought two repeats (have had before) H. Upmann Lonsdale, A.Fuente Chateau Finally, I treated myself to a Montecristo #1 (used to get these at our company outings from mgmt as I don't drink). Leaving for a week vacation Tuesday, will take all of these with me except the Monte, that will stay behind in the humi. Thanks for letting me blather on about this, I am still feeling my way around in the darkness. And if it arrives after I leave, thanks to the mystery wild monkey who set up the Cigarmony deal. I jumped on this as I tend to smoke what I have purcahsed and have nothing to offer in trade. What a great place this is!! Chris

Was able to get in on 3 trades before my newbie status ran out in the 'newbie pif' thread. Can't speak highly enough about the experience, received a number of cigars I had never heard of before and may never tried. Suggest taking a browse.

OK, I smoked my Ashton 8-9-8 tonight.
How do I describe the taste of this beautiful slender stick? I am beginning to get a feel for what I like, what really moves me, but how do I go about putting it into words? Guess it doesn't really matter, as long as I like what I smoke. Leaving town for a well needed vacation tomorrow, and will have no internet access, but will be appreciative of all I have learned here. Even researched a local B&M to visit. My but this is FUN.
