Re: LFD Factory Press

My local shop has a bunch of these going at $13 a piece. Very large cigar. Too much $$ for me to spend on an LFD.

Umm, it wouldn't be the first time I've asked a stupid question but....how in the hell do you cut one of those things?

With a large ring gauge cigar cutter. I've smoked one, the blend is excellent... the vitola... is weird. I like that Litto is pushing the envelope, but these cigars are about twice as wide as they are thick, and are fairly awkward to smoke.

Imagine a regular cigar that has been run over by a steamroller, Looney Toons style. Picture

Re: LFD Factory Press

I have been smoking the LFD Ligero Oscuro cigars lately and love them. I picked one of these up the other day and I'll post a pic/review when I smoke it.

Re: LFD Factory Press

Litto has been doing some amazing things! I loved the Natural Oscuro Especiales and wish I hadn't shared soo many of the supply I obtained.

I got a pair of the Limitado cigars and let them age for a year before torching them over Thanksgiving. What a wonderful smoke!

I have been patiently awaiting the Limitado II, I will be sure to look for the factory press next time I am at my local LFD retailer.

Thanks for the info mmblz!

Re: LFD Factory Press

I tried one of these a week ago and liked it: flavorful, but not as strong as some of their other cigars. I didn't care too much for the way it felt in my hand and, as far as blends go, I like the Limitado II much better. It was still good though and, if they were less expensive, I'd probably pick up more. At their current price point though, I highly doubt I'll buy any more.
