Gives me a blank look.
Does {A}.
Screws it up.
Gets pissed.
Rants and raves and kicks the dog.
Expects sympathy.
Gets none.
"Dad, I was thinking about doing {A1}..."
Repeat cycle.

Finally does {B}, and says "Well, I had to learn from my own mistakes."
I try not to say "I told you so", but I could.
Not that I never did stuff like that.
What's in the solution, anyway. I might just dry them out and smoke the Cohibas if they are not exploded.

Yet another reason I will heed the wise words of the Gorillas and go straight to the jumbo coolerdor with beads.

And to think before finding CS I was contemplating a Thompson-box-o-dog-rockets-combo just to get a humi.

Simple solution..... keep that humi full of cigars and you'll never see the stain, I cant remember the last time I saw the bottom of my humidors

I'm sure the loss of a few cigars is disapointing, but really in the big picture of things, it's not that bad. It just sucks right now.

I would let the cigars sit awhile unless totally ruined and smoke them eventually. If you smoke them and they taste like crap, well chuck it and pull out something different.
If nothing else you learned not to ever put cigars in your humidor until fully seasoned.

Or stay away from PG Solution. Still don't understand the appeal of that stuff.

Well put. I still am a bit lost in regards to why he seems to want to target 75% as optimal rh?

Great! Glad to hear that all is ok. No harm buying a bigger humi anyway (except for the pocketbook).

Re: So F-ing Angry.humidor Ruined

If the stain continues to bother you, you can always take a light grit sand paper and gently sand it off. Just be careful not to over do it.

I've done it to a humidor that's had mold before.
