As to the OP...I can see getting upset. I would be as well, but not much you can do except start the process over and call down the thunder on the first person to so much as look at your humi cross eyed. Dry it out and reseason it. Get some beads. If the cigars are smokable, smoke em. If not, toss em and buy more as you are able.

Yeah, I gotta agree that those directions may be a little weird if you are putting cigars near uncovered liquid. Sounds like directions for disaster.
