So F-ing Angry.humidor Ruined

I come back from university to check on my humidor.I read the hygromter which is on the outside and it reads 70%.Great i think. Then i open the dam thing to find some one in my house has messed around with it and that the shotglass full of soloution has spilled everywhere. The hummidifer and also fell of and leaked all over everything.I now have one big stain on the bottom of my humidor and 4 cohiba cigars covered in f**king soloution.

No one has admitted to touching it but i know someone have as it had slightly moved when i got back.

Does anyone els on here ever feel like saying to a member of there family "dont f**k around with other peoples stuff"

Check your pm, it's nothing that can be done to replace your loss but might help.

I'll join the online chat if you wanna talk about it, let out some of your frusteration and such, it might help you feel better.

That sucks. I can't help you to solve this problem, but I can give you some advice to prevent it in the future. Go to the Heartfelt industries webside and order beads in a tube, so you won't have to have a shotglas with solution standing in your humidor.

The cigars might be, but the humi will be fine after a little time. Follow the others advice and get humidification beads so this doesn't happen again

I think he was seasoning his Humi, but decided to keep cigars in there while doing so.

I was talking to Al and he thought the same as me, and now this brother. Unless someone thinks otherwise probably let it air out if it's sopping wet, re-season and try again.

Re: So F-ing Angry.humidor Ruined

It had been seasond for 3 days and i was introduicng cigars slowly as the instructions said.

I have layed paper along the bottom of the humidor even though it is dry now, just a huge stain.I have put the cigars on top of the paper and i will just leave them.

The hummidy has dropped to 64% already

It was also advised to only use water in the shot glass, not solution.
