So we like Maduros... but wait! C.A.O. Cx2 vs. Mx2

So overall we learned we like Maduro wrappers over the rest, with Cameroon being second most popular. I was smoking a very tastey CAO Mx2 when i wrote that thread and voted for Maduro.

But after reading the results i figured a good 'one on one' comparison of the two (Maduro & Cameroon) would be through my 2 robusto CAO Mx and Cx2's. So i light up the Cx2, knowing how much i liked the Mx2 and HOLY CRAP!!! it was so good. the aroma, the taste, the feel and construction. but the taste- i liked it blaitenly better then the Mx2.

SO i leanred you can like Maduros over Cameroons but not every Maduro over every cameroon, not even equal cameroons to equal Maduros. Id vote Maduro again if i could, but for this one its the Cx2, representing for the great African Cameroon

while i admit to liking both... MX2 offers a better value proposition (at nearly half the price)

Tried the Mx2 with a cup of hot chocolate on a nice cold night while sitting by a camp fire. Haven't tried the Cx2 yet however

I haven't tried the MX2 yet, but I really liked the Mx2, it had a great flavour to it.

I agree - the MX2 is just as good or better, for a lower price. I would smoke the CX2 again, but i would not make a point to keep it stocked. For the price, I was expecting more.

MX2 is one of the best value smokes you'll find.

I feel your pain man. I wish CAO would make sure they have enough to keep everyone stocked.

A crying shame I tell you!!!!!!

I had a CX2 on Sunday night and really enjoyed it. A little overpriced though. I'm still sitting on an MX2, waiting for the right time.

I tried the mx2 last night for the first time, great taste, and nice aroma, but, the draw was a little too hard and that is something that I really hate, the price was right too. I hope the next one will be better though.
