I agree completely = they are one friggin awesome smoke! Matter of fact thanks for making this post. Think I'll light one up later. I like them better than the 40 and 80 and any of the 64's.

Some one should chime in if I'm wrong but the but the 40th is the same blend as the 26th, its the shape that makes it unique. The 80th is supposedly a brand new blend.

Damn yummy sticks.

I like the 64's in natural, but the 26's are meant to be maduro, IMHO.

Re: Is the 1926 #35 the best cigar under $10 in the world?

My take on the lines is this. The 26 and 64 are both nice, but ive decided I don't need gobs of them. A fiver of either is more than enough to cover me for the year I think which is why I sold all mine off. The 40th was only marginally better than either of those to me, not worth the extra $. The 80th I found to be a superior experience, I bought 8 boxes. However as ive smoked more of them with some time in the box I don't know that I wouldve rated it a 10, prolly low to mid 9. That blast of pepper mixed with a very light coffee bean flavor has really settled into a pleasant smoothness which is still a great smoke but not quite the flavor I bought these looking for.

If I had tried one of the ones I have today I'd prolly only own a box possibly two.

If you can afford the frieght try them by all means, but I don't think you are missing an experience of a lifetime if you miss them.

Kind of the same with me; I enjoy the 64's, but not enough to keep lots around, that's why I'm selling them.

The 26's I just had too many of, and I really just want to get down to two wine fridges for the stuff I'm enjoying smoking every day in this phase I'm in.

In some areas of the world yes in some other areas no

For me it is the NC king however if you include cubans it holds its own but it does not hold the top spot.

It's better than the 10 or so Cubans I've had. I would say the best CC under $10 is probably the PSD4 or BoliRC. Punch Punch is good too.

The best Cuban cigars in the world can only dream of being as consistent as Padron Annis.
Taste wise, no doubt some Cubans are stellar and a matter of one's personal preference.
BUT, when it comes to consistency in terms of overall beauty and overall burn/draw, none better than Padron Annis.
I beg to find a box of Cubans without at least one (in many cases half a box) full of draw problems and burn issues.

I disagree, Cohiba sig VI, Partagas Lusitanias to name a couple that I have had many boxes and have not had a single problem and I have had a plugged 26.

That is what makes this all so interesting.
Consider yourself an extremely fortunate soul on the Cubans and consider yourself a winner of unbelievable odds on the plugged 1926.

I have bought at least 12 boxes of Siglo VI and at least 6 of Sublimes and have had burn issues with some.
Have only had one box of Lusis and don't recall on those.
The Cubans I have had with no plugs in a box are quite rare. In fact, there may be more but only a box of Fundadors come to mind.
In fact, ask Madurofan when he and I did a two box buy of some Bolis and we had to throw them all away practically.
You will never, ever find that with Annis yet it seems to be a norm with Cubans.
I think I have had quite a bit of experience with both.
Have had a personal account with Padron and have bought Annis consistently since they first came out when they were quite hard to find for many.
Perhaps I have been the fortunate one with them.

Imo, the AF Viejo #50 is. I pay $11 for them here in calibu so I know they're cheaper else where.

But that's just my opinion

While I haven't had as many or varied a smoking experience as many here, I haven't had any better but I find the RP Decade pretty darn close.

I know I have been lucky but I find patience to be a big part of my luck. I keep everything about a year in my cab to get them to stabilize where I like them. The plugged 26 was right out of the store and was really only a bit difficult, not unsmokably plugged.I am not going to argue at all at the fine product the 26's are, they just are.
