Re: viva las vegas!!!

Congrats!! Vegas is a blast. Casa Fuente is a must but bring some $$. Prices are pretty high. Only place you can buy the Casa Fuente. About 20-beans a piece, but it is Vegas. Most of the casinos have shops like Davidoff, but again they are higher due to overhead. Good luck!!

Thumbs up Re: viva las vegas!!!

You'll be there for 7 days. How many cigar's do you smoke per day? How are you traveling (drive, flight)? How much are you willing to pay (Hey Baby you're in Vegas!)? Work or pleasure (heck what am I thinking, you're in Vegas)?

Don't forget to gamble at the Mirage and they'll give you free drinks and CIGARS. They are pretty good too. I think you get free cigars at Treasure Island as well. ( I was last there 2 years ago)

Re: viva las vegas!!!

About the overhead comment...yeah, I know that Davidoff in the Venetian covers their overhead on the first Friday of every month...The prices are high more because of the "you are a tourist who does not know Las Vegas therefore we can nail you with a convenience charge." Casa Fuente, on the other hand, they jack prices...because they can...

Re: viva las vegas!!!

If you have transportation try to get somewhere off-Strip for your smokes. Doing business on or very near the Strip is expensive, and this will be reflected in the cost of the sticks you pick up.

Re: viva las vegas!!!

I'll be heading there in August. Arriving on saturday and leaving on wed. That way I can relax on sunday and enjoy some cigars while watching nascar. Yes, I will wander over to Caesars to visit Casa Fuente again.

Re: viva las vegas!!!

I'm going to be in town on business the 17th thru the 20th. What can you tell me about the Don Pablo Cigar Co on the strip? I jumped on their website and it looks as if they roll their own right in the store. Are they any good or worth the walk over?

Re: viva las vegas!!!

To be honest I have yet to try the Don Pablo stuff...it might be worth a stop...however, get a hold of any of the LV crew members (either guitarman s.t, or myself) via pm...we love to hook up with fellow CSers

worth the stop. I was there this weekend and they do roll them in the store. this was the first cigar store I every bought a cigar from and that was 15 years ago. Hard to compete in Vegas if you are slinging rockets.

Good luck and enjoy
