Good or Bad- CA's Top 25 List (up to this point)

So, I have undergone a mission of the upmost importance- To see how much crap those CA snobs are full of, and to put their Top 25 list to the test (well, my test). Now I will admit that I do not speak for the masses, nor do I have any creditability in the cigar world (except for researching and smoking cigars for 5 years). So far, up to this point, I have found through extensive research (yeah right) that CA is full of shit, they talk out of their highly polished asses, and there must be some payola or scandal going on. Some of the cigars that I've tried do deserve great recognition however, there is quite a few that should not be on that useless list, and likewise many that should be.

What do you BOTL/SOTL think about it? What cigars deserve the "prestigious" (saying with sarcasm) recognition, what cigars do not, and which ones did CA not receive enough money to put up there, that deserve it rightfully so?

In general, you have to remember that everyone has a different palate. Not everyone likes the same food, so why should everyone like the same cigar? Something that is a classic for one may be a dog rocket for another. For me, in general, I try to give everything a fair shot at least once (including a Gorilla Finger that is supposed to be heading my way).

I agree 110% that everyone has a different palette, but I doubt if many people would put the CAO Vision in the top 10 cigars in the world.

Of that list I've had these 5 cigars and it's the order I would place them in. Except for the Cohiba...I would place it below the Pepin.

There is only one true 'review' magazine that I know of and it's Consumer Reports. They buy the equipment they review and don't accept advertising. CA, Motor Trend, etc. are too biased to provide a useful opinion. Having said that, I still read CA and get interested in a cigar when it gets a good rating. I guess I'm just a sucker.

I say a few of them need to be changed or thrown out of the list completely, oh well that's their taste

Granted all tastes differ, but the Ashton VSG is the second worst tasting, smoking, rolled, cigar I have ever smoked. I'd feel guilty even putting on in a bomb as a joke.

In case your wondering, #1 would be any grape, pinapple, strawberry Philly

Smoked pretty much all of them. Only the Monte 2 would make my top 25 for this month. Don't put much stock in the magazine's ratings, personally.
