Re: Post Turkey Stogie... Holiday Picks!

I will not have a smoke tomorrow until I get home. I will be at the in-law being bored because my wife has a small family.

Then again if I take a cigar I can go outside and be alone for 2 hours HMMMMMMM

Probably a CAO Italia that has been sitting in the Humi for 1 1/2 months.

Montecristo #2s from 2000. I have two picked out one for me and one for Dad.

A perfect after dinner cigar.

LOL I was giving him the benefit of the doubt by quoting the first year that a U.S. President proclaimed Thanksgiving to be the last Thursday of November. Before that time, it was not a official or regular annual event and wasn't nessessarily held on the same day each year.

Re: Post Turkey Stogie... Holiday Picks!

I'm thinking after dinner I might sit out on the patio and enjoy a nice VR Don Alejandro or maybe a RAG. I was going to smoke the RAG last week but never got to it.......

Either way I'll be happy.

Better take some warm clothing Dustin with VR DA.... you're going to be out there for a while. I have a few too and would to have one this type of occasion but getting the boys to hang with me that long would be very tough in their married with children days. I think it will end up being Boli Corona Jr's for me.

A real shame with this killer weather we have been having (70's to 80's)

Re: Post Turkey Stogie... Holiday Picks!

Yeah well, I've got a fire pit that will keep me warm on my patio Rod so I should be ok

You know me, I'm a sucker for the larger ring gauge cigars... its a weakness.. I know.

You should check out my review of the Monte Especial No. 1 Had that last nite while sitting in front of the fire. What an excellent way to end an evening.

Re: Post Turkey Stogie... Holiday Picks!

Seriously man its great! I've got my Cigar Lounge (shed) with the couch and DVD Player and all but sometimes its just more relaxing to sit outside and stare at the stars while warming yourself and indulging in an amazing smoke!

Do it Rod... Do it!

I have to agree Rod, there is nothing like sitting outside on a cold winters day or night with a fire pit and a nice cigar.

Do yourself a huge favor and buy one.

That is what us SD gorillas do for our S.H.I.T. Herfs. There is nothing like it.
Gotta get one, Rod.

You guys are so bad...

(he writes as he and the wife laugh together at the post while trying to figure out how a fire pit might work under the patio cover)

Re: Post Turkey Stogie... Holiday Picks!

that all sounds wonderful guys, I have a boring family who does not know how to have a fun relaxed holiday. No wine or beer for Hilidays and no Cigars.. I think the strongest thing we have is pickelled harring.. I reserve 4th of July for friends only, and we make up for lost time. I think someday I will have to change all that.. For now I am out numbered. So while you all enjoy a single malt scotch and an aged Cuban tomorrow.. Think of me and my pickelled harring.
