license to sell cigars

any information on obtaining a license in ny state to sell cigars.. alot of free concerts and stuff and i use to see stands with people selling cigars but the past few years they havent been there... what would i need to do to get one?

You're probably going to need a street vendors license, and a tobacco sales license.

Not sure if this link will help, it says its for cigarettes, but this could lead you in the right direction.

Maybe visit city hall and ask them for information as well, as that is where most paper work like this is done and filed.

This should end up with an application for NY state retail license, but then you will have to deal with the ungodly tax paperwork. Have fun.
