For J. Fuego Junkies: Delirium

I went to an event a couple of days ago where Jesús Fuego was featuring his new cigar: Delirium. Here's an article I posted on the event. And here's a link to the photos.

Jesús is as down to earth as they come. He has an incredible memory for names and faces. When he saw me again, he remembered that I purchased some J. Fuego Corojo Belicoso's for my feature on Stogie Fresh 5 (he listened to the podcast), so he pulled out a Belicoso vitola of the new Delirium for me. He's like that.

The new cigar: the Delirium is an excellent example of a maduro. One thing I like about the Delirium is that its flavors are clean. What I mean is, that some maduros end up with a "muddy" flavor, where all the flavors kind of mix together and you can't pick out anything. But not the Delirium. It also displays the complexity of a 4-country blend and the Brazilian maduro wrapper is a gem. As with all J. Fuego cigars, the construction and burn are awesome.

But, the other bit of news is that he has another cigar that will debut officially at the IPCPR trade show in July. It's called the "777." This is a cigar that I will probably buy a lot of. They will be a rather inexpensive cigar, say between $4.50-$5.50 per stick, but this is a great stick! It's a Nicaraguan puro with a nice kick of Corojo.

Wow, they look tasty (and expensive).
I wonder who will get them first.
Thanks!

I smoked another one of these yesterday with Ivory Tower and we both really enjoyed them. These are a great maduro: sweet tobacco flavor and very aromatic. If you like maduros, give this one a try.

Re: For J. Fuego Junkies: Delirium

I bought one of these at a B&M while traveling on Biz. Maduro belicoso. Tried it that night. The next day I was four states away but a colleague was still there so I called him up and sent him to get me 5 more. I bet I only get 4 when I see him. Cost was $7.50 each, can't find 'em on line right now, or in many stores near me. Fantastic stick. I'd not tried the Fuego line before having heard some negative reviews. This one's a new Fav.

Re: For J. Fuego Junkies: Delirium

I just posted my most recent podcast featuring the J. Fuego Delirium Belicoso.

A must try cigar. In fact, the Corojo, the Natural and the Delirium have something for everyone.

Re: For J. Fuego Junkies: Delirium

I just reviewed a J Fuego Natural last week. I found it to be an excellent cigar. I can't wait to have another tonight.

Re: For J. Fuego Junkies: Delirium

One of my favorite sticks!!!!!!

Jesus is about as down to earth as it gets and such a easy personable guy to talk to. I have met him a couple times now and he remembers my name as soon as I see him. I have a lot of respect for an owner like that. He always seems to be bearing gifts when he comes as well.

I really enjoyed the Delirium Lancero. So much wrapper flavor!!!!! But I'm stuck on the Corojo's.

Watch for a new size from him to possibly coming out in the future. Petite Corona or Perla but as he likes to call Minuto! He and I were talking at the cigar shop a week and a half ago and he wanted some input/ideas on what he should do next or different. 5 hours later after B.S.ing and what not I suggested some smaller RG sticks. (Most of his stuff is around the 50+ RG mark) He got this look on his face like he was thinking and goes you might be on to something. Not everyone has 45min-hour to enjoy a smoke. I'm going to work on it when I get done traveling. (For the next month he's on the road)

I can't say enough good things about this guy. He's a genuine, down to earth, class act. If you have the opportunity to meet him, DO IT! You won't be disappointed.

Ricky to cool man!!! Sounds like he is one hell of a guy...
Does your B&M stock his stuff on a regular base?
Sounds like it is worth picking up a few at the sounds of it !!!
